It starts with a photo. Snap a few pictures of the pile, the shed, or the room, text them to (813) 763-2284 with your Lakeland zip code, and Tuck reads them and sends back a volume-based price. No appointment needed to get that number, and no charge for it. If the job is large enough or awkward enough that photos will not tell the whole story, we schedule a free on-site walkthrough instead.
Once you approve the quote, we book a slot. On the day, the crew confirms the price before anything goes in the truck, then works. You do not drag items to the curb. We go into the attic, the garage, the back yard, or the third-floor apartment and carry it out ourselves. When the load is on, we sweep the area before we leave.
From there the load goes back to our yard for sorting, not straight to a landfill. That step is why one truckload can end up in three different places.
Nearly everything non-hazardous. Furniture, mattresses and box springs, refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers, AC units, televisions, computers and e-waste, carpet and flooring tear-out, garage and attic clutter, yard and storm debris, construction debris including drywall, lumber, flooring and fixtures, plus whole-shed, deck, fence, hot tub, playset, and paver teardowns.
Refrigerant appliances are fine. Refrigerators, freezers, and AC units go to licensed recovery facilities where certified technicians pull the Freon before the metal is recycled, which is what EPA rules require. Appliance Removal & Recycling covers that process in full.
What we cannot put in the truck is hazardous material. Paint, chemicals, and tires are household hazardous waste under EPA guidance and need special disposal routes we are not licensed to run. Not straight to the Polk County Landfill and Transfer Station on North County Road 540A. Every load comes back to our yard and gets sorted by hand, in a fixed order: donate first, recycle second, landfill last.
Donation comes first because most of what people call junk still works. Dining tables, chairs, shelving, dressers, working appliances, tools, clothing, housewares, and toys go to local Lakeland shelters, church organizations, and non-profits. We handle the loading and the delivery. Recycling is second. Steel, iron, aluminum, copper, and brass go to Lakeland metal yards. Clean timber, cardboard, and plastics are separated out. Electronics go through licensed e-waste recyclers, since monitors and televisions carry lead and mercury that leach into Florida groundwater.
